Graduate Hotel, Storrs
Located on the University of Connecticut campus and an easy walk to the best spots on campus and to Downtown Storrs, the Graduate Hotel, Storrs is the perfect home base for Husky game days, campus visits, and more. Guest rooms are dressed in classic plaids and Connecticut motifs, celebrating local traditions and the region’s history. In the lobby, our 30-foot communal table invites friendly conversation over coffee or a cocktail. With nearly 6,000 square feet of flexible event space, we offer a variety of distinct settings to host groups of up to 275 guests. UConn cultural and sporting events are only steps out of the hotel’s front doors.
Residence Halls
Conference housing is available in our residence halls from the first weekend in June until the second weekend in August. Along with our partners in Residential Life, we are able to fulfill all of your housing needs which may include apartments, suites, or traditional rooms. Housing staff are available 24 hours a day for general information and assistance and all rooms include internet access. Multiple linen options are available for you to choose from.
Premium Residence Halls feature air conditioned rooms. The campus offers several options ranging from one bedroom with private bath to quad style suites with shared common space. All offer the benefit of proximity to your on-campus program.
The majority of premium summer conferences are housed in South Campus. This complex can accommodate up to 675 guests. The South Campus suites have two bedrooms with a shared bathroom off a common living area. Each building has its own laundry facility and lounge space available. High-tech seminar space is also available in South Campus to accommodate groups consisting of 25 to 40 participants. This complex also offers a separate building, Rome Commons, which includes ballroom space, a marketplace-dining hall, a game room and a patio.
Standard Residence Halls are not air conditioned and offer a more traditional residence hall space. Depending on the building, the residence halls may be equipped with game rooms, community lounges, and laundry facilities. Many offer shared program spaces, outdoor recreation, outdoor patios, and some small meeting rooms. The majority of these rooms are double occupancy. Each floor has a shared restroom.
Apartments are available on a limited basis and require a minimum of 6 months notice. Two and four bedroom units for up to 4 guests may include a kitchen with a dishwasher, dining area, living room, laundry room and bathroom. Both air conditioned and non-air conditioned units are available. A community center with a pool table is located in each apartment complex. Parking is also available at each complex. A minimum 3-night rental per unit is required.
