Demand continues to increase for on-line services for events and conferences. A lengthy and arduous paper registration process is frustrating for attendees and costly for the organization. By registering guests on-line, not only is the process easier for the guest, it provides more accurate and organized information for the planner! University Events and Conference Services provides registration services to all campus departments through on-line software. This is a convenient and reliable way to register guests and collect fees from participants.
Increase attendance by using the event management system to send out customized email invitations, directions, and reminders leading up to the conference/event. Surveys can also be designed to collect post-event data. This is a simple technique that will modernize your registration process and impress your attendees!
The system functionality includes:
- Conference/event web page with customize-able features
- Allow guests or groups to register for conference/event online
- Link the registration website to the conference/event home site
- Collect secure online credit card payments
- Accept check payments, KFS (for UConn departments) or purchase orders
- Collect abstracts
- Coordinate housing, meals and travel
- Coordinate excursions
- Post Powerpoint presentations
- Create guest directories and more
University Events and Conference Services will forward customized reports to the conference/event organizer. A “smart link” also allows planners to view up-to-the-minute registrant information, including contact information or balance due, at anytime from anywhere. This eliminates inconsistent data and cuts hours of administrative work!
